That’s Life!

It’s snowing in Chicago, inches and inches accumulating,  and here I am, right now in search of employment, watching the individual flakes fall rather briskly on the ground(and my car). I am preparing my agenda for the next week of jobhunting but decided to take a break and, instead of complaing about things that I can’t control(snow and the economy), I am actually appreciating the beauty of things around me in the winter’s coat, and am seeing my situation not as a misfortune but an opportunity.

31 years working for the same company and neither they nor I wanted what happen to happen. I realize that I am fortunate in that I now have a multitude of directions that I can take in my life, all of them good, all of them promising.

I am no dreamer, however and understand that there are sacrifice to be made on my part, but I am up to the challenge. I am serious about advancing my education given the once in a lifetime opportunity available to me, but will not be satisfied until I do find employment. I have also enjoyed the benefit of my time at my former workplace in that I have been responsible for so much of the dynamics there. It does pay to multi-task in the long run.

I will cut this short by enjoy a Frank Sinatra tune called, you gussed it, That’s Life. Found it on you tube and do not know the actor who is portraying old blue eyes but really, really like his performance. I hope that you do as well. I want to and wish I could personally thank him for keeping my spirits high and my eye on the prize. OK, so here goes:

Frank Sinatra -- That’s Life Music Video Hi this is my second year project for my Media Studies A-Level!On here you cant really tell but when you see the man on stage it is in old age film in which gives it the old feel with the age effect! I enjoyed making this from creating the lighting on the stage to editing! I hope you enjoy it to!
